I like how you are close with your siblings, particularly your 14 year old brother because I have one too! You're so athletic! Good luck at Hastings playing volleyball and track that's going to be a lot of fun!!!!

I totally understand how family is so important to you as it is very important to me too. I was a total barney fan as well. That is awesome that your family is your best friends and that there is noone better. Congrats on all of your athletic achievements and seems that you have had a great time at Arapahoe. Good luck at Hastings next year!

i did my presentation on family too! barney was my favorite, i loved that crazy purple dino. you seem to have gotten very involved in life, involved in school and involved in yourself, it is very relate able. i probably should have said more to freshmen, i called one a noodle one time and he had noooo idea what was going on. its so great that you love kids so much and have decided to become a teacher, you will achieve your goals if you put your mind to it!

I agree that family is really important, and it's great you're close with all your siblings! I also think it's cool that you are really close with all of your cousins too. Congratulations on your captainship and award you won in volleyball as well! It is certainly a lasting legacy to be proud of! Good luck next year at Hastings with both vollyball and Track as well! I hope you get to see the world and come back to teach here! That would be so cool. :)

Kendra, I love how you really focused the beginning of your presentation on how close you are to your family. Family is so important to having a memorable and happy life! I also like how you talked to the class rather than reading off of your notes. It's so awesome that you got that award for volleyball, I totally agree with that, you are someone that others need to look up to because you are so dedicated and kind! Good luck playing college sports!

I wish I had as many siblings as you do, it's cool that you were all friends.
I had my stuffed Barney too! He was definitely the best.
I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, lucky duck.
I once tried to high jump in middle school, it didn't work out too well. It takes a special talent to be able to do that, good for you.
Good luck in your future! It would be so cool for you to come back as a teacher at Arapahoe.

Kendra! you are an amazing person!

Being very close to your family is so important. The mountain house sounds like such a good idea.

Most people take family for granted so its good you recognize the importance.

I think that it was cool how beginning was all about your family. I have a HUGE family too and they are very important to me. I also thought that it was cool that you want to come back to Arapahoe and teach. I really liked the fact that you tied it back into What's the Point?

I like how you don't look down on younger kids but instead say hi to the freshmen in the halls. That's really cool and makes a huge difference to those freshmen. Good work in v-ball and track, and especially recieving that award. Good luck next year.

I like how you have a family basis and you really concentrated on that. It was great how you connected with another presentation that was pretty cool. It’s great that you have that passion and you got to your goals and your are going to continue on that road of volleyball and track. I think that your family basis really shows in what you’re going to do with your future and your coming back to be a teacher here at Arapahoe because I would say that we are a pretty great family.

It sounds like you have had some good childhood experiences that helped you learn a lot. ALso I think that your legacy of sports and being a leader for the freshman is pretty cool. good job on your presentation, the only thing I thought you could improve on was being a little more engaging with the audience, but great job!

I liked how you used the bar always wins as one of your main quotes. It worked really well with your presentation. I think it is great you want to go to Spain. I went to Europe over the summer last year for the first time and it was one of the greatest experiences. I love how you have all your goals lined out for your future. Good job
